During this 40–45 minute screening, Misti will look at several foundational areas of nervous system development, including key reflex patterns, postural organization, visual-vestibular skills, and bilateral coordination.

The goal is not simply to identify areas of difficulty. It is to help you better understand how your child’s nervous system may be contributing to the challenges you are seeing at home or school.

What will you gain from the screening?

You will leave with:

• A better understanding of your child’s neurological strengths and areas that may need additional support.

• Insight into how the findings may relate to concerns such as attention, emotional regulation, posture, handwriting, coordination, movement seeking, or difficulty managing the demands of the school day.

• An opportunity to discuss your concerns and observations with an occupational therapist who specializes in reflex and neurodevelopmental approaches.

• Clear guidance about whether a more comprehensive evaluation or additional support may be beneficial.

This screening is not a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation or diagnosis. It is designed to give you a meaningful first look at your child’s neurological foundation and help you determine what your next step — if any — should be.
